Our Stance on Copyright

VidDrag respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. VidDrag does not host, store, or distribute any video content — we provide a technical tool that retrieves publicly available download links from third-party APIs. We comply fully with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and take copyright infringement seriously.

How VidDrag Works

VidDrag acts as a search/retrieval tool — similar to a browser. When a user submits a URL, we query third-party APIs that return publicly accessible download links. We do not host the video files, control the content, or distribute it. The legal responsibility for how downloaded content is used lies entirely with the end user.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe VidDrag is being used to infringe your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice to dmca@viddrag.com containing:

  • Your full name and contact information (email, address, phone)
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed
  • The specific URL on VidDrag that you believe infringes your copyright
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your electronic or physical signature

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 5 business days.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice to dmca@viddrag.com with your contact information, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringers

VidDrag will terminate access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, in accordance with the DMCA safe harbor provisions.
