1. Overview

VidDrag operates viddrag.com. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We are committed to your privacy — we do not collect personal information and your downloaded files never touch our servers.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
  • Account credentials (VidDrag has no accounts)
  • The actual video URLs you paste (they are cryptographically hashed)
  • Your IP address in any identifiable form
  • Downloaded video files (never stored on our servers)

3. What We Collect (Anonymously)

  • A SHA-256 hash of URLs — mathematically impossible to reverse
  • Platform type (the many downloaders) for service analytics
  • Whether a download succeeded or failed
  • Response time in milliseconds (performance monitoring)
  • Country code only — not city, not IP address

4. Cookies & Advertising

VidDrag uses no tracking cookies. We display third-party advertisements (Google AdSense / Adsterra) which may set their own cookies per their privacy policies. You may disable cookies in your browser at any time without affecting VidDrag's core functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

  • RapidAPI — processes video info requests (rapidapi.com/privacy)
  • Supabase — stores anonymized analytics (supabase.com/privacy)
  • Vercel — hosts our website (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
  • Google Fonts — serves typography (policies.google.com/privacy)

6. Data Retention

Anonymized analytics are retained for 12 months then deleted automatically. Since no personal data is stored, there is nothing personally identifiable to delete. Contact us with any concerns.

7. Children's Privacy

VidDrag is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used our service, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Since we collect no personally identifiable information, traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion) are largely not applicable. If you are in the EU or California and have concerns, contact us within 30 days for a response.
